This is a highly nutritious soup which is also anti-parasitic, alkaline and is good for the whole family.

I used blender to cook pumpkin puree. If your blender doesn't have soup setting, you can use instant pot or a regular stove and pot. Add together below ingredients, cook until ready and blend or smash pumpkin pieces.

Slice any kind of pumpkin into smaller cubes. About 2 lbs or 1 kg

Add:

1 tsp of any salt you like. I added black Himalayan

2 Tbsp onion. Fresh or dry.

1 Tbsp garlic. Fresh or dry.

1 tsp turmeric

1 tsp ginger

1 tsp fennel seeds

1 tsp cinnamon

3 - 4 cups of water

If these spices don't work for you, you can add any that you like. to keep anti-parasite qualities add at least turmeric or cinnamon.

Cook all until ready.

When soup is ready and pureed, transfer it into a pot (if you used blender), put on high heat and add fresh or frozen 1 cup of green peas. Bring to boil and turn off. Remove from stove and add fresh 1 cup of finely chopped cilantro or parsley (cilantro will give stronger spicy flavor. If you don't like it, use parsley.) Garnish all with 1/2 cup of pumpkin seeds.
