Our intern positions were created specifically for people who want to get started and gain new experience, even if they have no experience yet. We will train you, teach you, and fully support you while you learn.
These are six month unpaid internships. We work with many universities and high schools, so please ask during your interview if we work with your school. Your school may be able to give you credit for your time with us. When you complete your six months, you will receive a recommendation letter from us. You will leave with real experience, a stronger resume, and the skills to apply for a real job with confidence.
We are looking for a sales professional to sell A Friendly Shoulder retreats.
In this contract position, you will work with our database. We will provide you with contacts, or you will research where these contacts are missing. There is no need to bring your own database. If you do have your own contacts and would like to work with them as well, you are welcome to do so.
Your role is to connect with potential clients, present our retreats clearly and professionally, answer their questions, and guide them through to a completed booking.
You will earn $2,000 for each sale you make.
This is a good fit for someone who communicates well, enjoys talking with people, and knows how to close a sale.
If you are new to this role or an intern without experience, we will help you to start.
You will work directly with the database we provide and reach out to the professionals and businesses in it to help build collaboration contacts for our team. There is no need to research or find contacts on your own.
Most of your contact with prospects will be by email. Your goal is to lead them to an interview with us. You will not handle the interview yourself.
No experience needed. We will train you.
In this role, you will develop original content for the A Friendly Shoulder TikTok and Instagram platforms, including short videos, graphics, and captions that present our services, programs, and community in a clear and engaging way.
Applicants must already be proficient with the creative tools needed to produce this content. Instruction in software is not provided. Content creators may use the tools they work best with, including AI applications, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Cloud, or other design and editing platforms.
This position requires independent and self directed work. We are seeking creative, responsive individuals who can quickly grasp the tone and purpose of A Friendly Shoulder, translate that understanding into strong content, and complete work with minimal supervision.
In this role, you will develop original content for TikTok and Instagram for a separate music project. This project is not related to A Friendly Shoulder, although this position is employed by A Friendly Shoulder.
Your content will be built around the music and the central character of the project. This is a fun and creative position, and it requires proven skill with AI content tools.
Applicants must be able to keep one character fully consistent across videos and across images, with the same appearance, features, and styling in every piece of content. Character consistency is an essential requirement for this role.
Applicants must already be proficient with the AI tools they use. Instruction in those tools is not provided.
We are seeking independent, responsive creators who can understand the music, have sense of humor, understand the character they work with, and produce polished content with minimal supervision.
In this role, you will manage and develop our existing YouTube channel, with primary responsibility for our podcast content.
You will work with podcast videos and create Shorts from that material for the channel. Experience with the Riverside platform is a significant advantage. Riverside experience is not required, as the platform is straightforward to learn.
You will create professional thumbnails for every video, in a style that reflects the company and gives the channel one consistent, polished look.
The channel is already established, with a banner and everything needed in place. This position is focused on content and channel development, not on setting up a channel from the beginning. Videos of podcasts will be provided.
We are seeking a highly professional, independent creator who can manage the YouTube content work in full and maintain a consistent professional standard across the channel.
In this role, you will produce short AI videos in a horizontal format for a separate music project. This position is employed by A Friendly Shoulder. Applicants must be able to produce video in the horizontal format with use of AI tools.
Each video will feature the central character of the project. The character must remain fully consistent in appearance and style in every video and must not be changed in any way.
All work will follow the exact script and direction provided for each video, including what each video must contain.
You will be working on one project in a time. Each project has about 8-10 short videos.
